Hangout Beach Fest – What A Blast!!

The Inaugural Hangout Beach Music and Arts Festival is now just a vivid memory. By all accounts, for a first time out, Hangout was a success, especially when pure wonder and enjoyment of music fans in the sand is considered. It was indeed the Best Beach Party Ever (or the best one I’ve ever been to).

From the artistic ambience of lighted palm trees along the beach’s Gulf horizon, to the massive shaka hand fixed between two welcoming monster size beach chairs that greeted folks walking through the entry gate, this festival was made for those that appreciate the finer details of life.

Thoughts of oil in the sea were far from our minds, although at times we were reminded  (Ben Harper informed fans of an anti-bp website that the audience was soon chanting back to him). Nice surprises included guest appearances and fireworks closing each night (Trey Anastasio jammed with his band during the fireworks display, wow).

There are many memories, pics and stories yet to post.

If you’d like to share any, send them via e-mail with Hangout Beach referenced in subject line to 92 ZEW Email so that we may post them for others to read.

Thank You to the Music Fans that supported such an Amazing Adventure.

Thumbs Up to the  folks behind it all
