Mikey WelshMikey Welsh, the man behind the big basslines of Weezer’s ‘Green Album’  was found dead in a Chicago Hotel room, reports VH1. 

Proving you should pay attention to your dreams.

Apparently, 40 year-ol Welsh predicted his death Sept. 26 on twitter when he recapped a dream “Dreamt i died in chicago next weekend (heart attack in my sleep). Need to write my will today.” His next tweet was a correction correction – the weekend after next.”

Cause of death has not yet been determined.

Welsh was with Weezer from ’98 through 2002 and played one of the band’s seminal albums, ‘The Green Album’ that contained hits ‘Hash Pipe,’  and ‘Island in the Sun’.  He left the band amicably after a series of nervous breakdowns. They are all still friends; he was in Chicago to see the band play.
