Mumford & Sons
took to their website to wish their fans happy holidays. The band listed some of their highlights of 2011 saying, “Getting to see The Northern Lights after playingSaint Magnus Cathedral in Orkney… sharing the stage with Mr. Dylan and the Avett Brothers at the Grammys… the Railroad Revival Tour… Glastonbury and then Hyde Park the week after with Arcade Fire!” The guys say they are writing and recording their second album right now and say, “We’re better friends than we’ve ever been and we’re so excited about the future, releasing more records and getting back out on the road.”

Red Hot Chili Peppers just wrapped up a European tour in support of their I’m With You album, and as promised, the band has uploaded all the shows for fans to download. Fans of the band can now get digital audio copies of shows in London, Glasgow, Munich, Milan and more. The band says they will be uploading all their shows on the I’m With You tour so be sure to visit RedHotChiliPeppers.com for updates.

Matt Nathanson has declared his resolution for 2012. The singer says in the New Year he will “stop trying to convince people who do not understand.” Understand what?, is yet to be determined. Follow Matt over at Twitter.com/MattNathanson.

Bono got on stage in his hometown of Dublin this weekend. The U2 frontman joined Irish singer Imelda May and the pair performed (undoubtedly a rather swanky version) “Desire” and U2’s famous Christmas cover “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home.) Bono has been known for his impromptu performances in Dublin over the holidays and has even busked on the busy shopping area, Grafton Street, two years in a row.
