So there’s a plethora of apps to help you fall asleep, but how about measuring those REM brainwaves? Well, apparently now you can.
Reuters reports ‘Sleep Manager’ synchronizes with a headset that measures brain activity, eye movement and other signals in light, deep and REM (rapid eye movement) sleep. Allegedly to help the user optimize quality of sleep with the more important deep and REM stages.
And yes, you’d have to wear one of those funky headbands with sensors that sync with a bluetooth to ipad, iphone and android.
It also syncs with other apps like Daily Burn and Runkeeper.
Just think, you could be your own guinea pig!
