“The feature film “Tokarev” will be filming a CAR CHASE scene on several streets in the downtown area on the days of: Wednesday, June 19 and Saturday through Sunday, June 22-23, 2013

Our days usually begin at 8:00AM and end around 8:30pm. We will be filming primarily on ST. FRANCIS ST., ST. JOSEPH ST., and ROYAL ST., so there will be road closures at those intersections, so expect delays. There will only be road closures where we need them to accomplish filming, but a lot of metered parking will be taken up to ensure safety and security for both our crew and the public.
There will be NO PARKING on Royal St. from St. Michaels St. to Government St. starting Tuesday, 6/18, at 5:00pm through Sunday night, 6/23.

There will be NO PARKING on St. Francis St. from N Conception to Royal St. starting Tuesday, 6/18, at 5:00pm through Saturday, 6/23.

There will be NO PARKING on St. Joseph’s St. from St. Michaels to St. Dauphin St. starting Tuesday, 6/18, at 5:00pm, through Sunday 6/23.

There will be NO PARKING on Dauphin St. from St. Emmanuel St. to Royal St. starting Tuesday, 6/18, at 5:00pm, through Saturday 6/23.

We will be blocking off roads on Bienville Square, St. Francis St. and Royal St. as our filming progresses. Expect some delays Wednesday, 6/19, Saturday, 6/22, and Sunday, 6/23.”

ALSO (Unrelated): Weather permitting, ALDOT will be closing the Bankhead Tunnel on U.S. Highway 98 in from 9 p.m. Friday, June 21 until 5 a.m. Monday, June 24 to complete work on the tunnel.

Traffic will be detoured through the Wallace Tunnel on Interstate 10.
