Audrey Walding and Tyler Cox, former Daphne High School alumns, joined Tony on the Round Table this week to talk about her friend Josh & this Saturday’s event Kicking for Josh. Below are the complete interview, more info about the event & how you can help and a link to the facebook page:
Josh Gurvitz, a Daphne High School Alumni and current soccer player at the University of West Alabama, was in a car accident on November 5th that has left him currently paralyzed from the chest down.
We are hosting an event for Josh on December 17th at Daphne High School’s Football Field and Stadium. All proceeds from the event will be used to help Josh’s family with medical expenses.
There will be inflatables, live muisc, food and t-shirts for sale, as well as 2 Baldwin County alumni vs. coaches soccer games! The entrance fee is $5 per person which includes a #JoshStrong wristband and access to the inflatables. Gates open at 2:00 PM while Game 1 starts at 3:00 PM and Game 2 starts at 5:00 PM.
