Listen to Tony’s interview with organizers of the first annual Smoke on the Coast Food & Fireworks Festival to be held in Spanish Fort, July 2.
In the Community Round Table Tony sat down with Tonya Butler Collins of Team River Runner and Kristie Raleigh with Smoke on the Coast. The Round Table airs on 92.1 the ZEW on Sunday mornings at 6am & our sister station WNSP the Sports Station at 7. Here’s the interview and info about the event.
Mark your calendars for “Smoke on the Coast” July 2nd, 2016 at the Spanish Fort Town Center Park from 5-9pm! You will not want to miss great live music from Willie Sugarcapps and Hugh Mitchell, local food trucks, bbq, arts & crafts, Extreme Kid Zone, and the largest fireworks festival in the area!
A portion of proceeds for this year’s Smoke on the Coast event will benefit the local chapter of Team River Runner, a national non-profit that believes that every wounded and disabled veteran deserves the opportunity to embrace new challenges, invoke leadership, and promote camaraderie. They provide an outlet to fulfill these beliefs – inviting wounded and disabled war veterans and their families to participate in adaptive paddling programs.
You can read more about all of the amazing things Team River Runner does for our local wounded veterans on their Facebook page
