9am- St. Francis Arts and Crafts Festival opens
11am- Gumbo Festival opens at 3 locations.

Trolley service begins.
2pm- People choice voting for
Gumbo Cook off ends.
3pm- Gumbo Cook off Awards at 58th Annual
Sailboat Regatta Headquarters.

St. Francis Arts and Crafts Festival Ends.
Boats begin arriving at Regatta.
5pm- Live music at Regatta Headquarters
7:30pm- Sailboat Regatta Awards
7th Annual Dauphin Island Gumbo Festival FAQ
Friday April 22nd will feature Gulf Seafood Cooking Demonstrations
at 3 locations.
The cooking demonstrations are free and open to the public. A local seafood
expert will prepare a dish for the crowd and provide samples. There will be live
music and refreshments at each demo.
5:30 pm- The First Bank
6:30 pm- Mack ‘n DD’s
8:00 pm- Pirates Bar & Grill (Poolside at the Isle Dauphine)
Saturday April 23rd Gumbo Cook off
Tickets will be available at each location. Get your ticket punched to receive an
armband to sample gumbo. The trolley will run between all three festival
locations as well as the St. Francis Arts and Crafts Festival and the Sailboat
Regatta. The Gumbo Awards will be presented at 3pm at the Regatta Stage.
Drinks will be available for sale at each location or from adjacent businesses.
Children under 10 are admitted for free. They do not require an armband.
Kid’s activities will be available at all three gumbo locations from 11am- 3pm.
Pets on leashes are allowed at each location. Adjacent businesses may have
their own policy.
The 58th Annual Dauphin Island Sailboat Regatta
Hundreds of Boats will race
down Mobile Bay. The racers will dock at the Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo
Headquarters at 531 Lemoyne Drive. Boats usually start arriving in the late
afternoon. Live music, festivities and Regatta Awards will take place after the
