Ever wonder what a festival would be like if organized by Musicians? Find out this summer as Wilco will curate their own Solid Sound Festival, at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art, North Adams August 13-15,

Of course Wilco headlines (definitely a do not miss act, ask your friends who attended gigs in Mobile, New Orleans and Bonnaroo).  And, of course, their individual side projects are featured: Nels Cline Singers, Glenn Kotche’s On Fillmore, John Stirratt’s the Autumn Defense, and Pat Sansone and Mikael Jorgensen’s Pronto. Yes, other musicians will play, as well as comedians, films, dj’s, video installations, exhibits and more.

One installation is practically a Wilco side project itself. The Solid Sound Stompbox Station is Cline’s own guitar pedal exhibit, which he’ll demonstrate.

It’s all that and a bag of Leonard Nimoy Photos?  Yep, Mr Spock has eyes too, he’s a fine art photographer, with an exhibit running simultaneously at the museum.  Can ya say BO-NUS!!!
