I’m crazy stoked for this show. I didn’t get to attend the first Hangout Music Festival but I won’t miss this one! I had to work last year…..but now my JOB is to go to Hangout Music Fest! Life is good….
It’s amazing to me to read the rumors and wishlists of who people would like to see play the show. I’ve seen sooooo many different bands mentioned it’s crazy. Everyone from Zepplin to Justin Beiber. Crazy stuff.
More amazing is the passion these fans have for the Fest and these bands. It’s impressive that the Hangout has this loyal a following after just one year, but I do think it’s deserved. With Hangout I and the other shows they’ve done post oil-spill, the team there has really knocked it outta the park. And the fans are truly the reason they work so hard. They know if they slack, the fans will give them no quarter. And the Hangout team are fans themselves, so THEY won’t let themselves slack.
So, the rabid speculation continues, Hangout Music Fest II will be announced soon, and all I can do is quote Matt Hooper in JAWS:
“We’re gonna need a bigger boat.”
