Isaac evacuation zones map mobile county

The Mobile County Commission’s established mandatory evacuation zones for low-lying areas prone to flooding and other safety threats from Tropical Storm Isaac were mapped out for residents to exactly who is required to leave. The pdf map allows users to zoom in to exact locations.  If residents use AT&T phone service, they will receive automated phone call alerting them to leave. Residents can sign up for automated call alerts at the Mobile County website on the First Call link. The automated calls are used only for emergencies.

The evacuation areas are based on a worst-case scenario of a possible Category 2 storm. Even though Isaac is anticipated to make landfall on the Louisiana coast, officials say intense rains, wind and possible tornadic activity will affect Mobile County.
