Big kudos to The Sunshine Factory (Mobile, AL) who’ve been passionately working their craft of music.   Word on the street is their bright, almost shoegaze sounds caught the ears of famed producer Dennis Herring (Modest Mouse, Counting Crowes, Elvis Costello), who seems a bit smitten with their southern-gothic downbeats. Herring expressed interest in producing the band’s next record and invited them to record in his Oxford, Mississippi studio.

Keep an eye out for The Sunshine Factory updates; there may be a way you can help them get that assembly line going in Oxford. In the meantime, catch them live this Friday at the Blind Mule with El Cantador.
