This year marks The Rolling Stones’ 50th anniversary and there are many ways the occasion is being celebrated – documentaries, exhibitions and of course, the band will play some shows, and now, a limited-edition whisky is also coming out.

Japanese distiller Suntory Liquors is releasing 150 bottles of a malt created from the year the Stones formed. Its taste is described in a press release as slightly bitter with a velvety smooth mouth-feel and an aftertaste of “pleasant woodiness.”  The whisky is part of Suntory’s Stones Bar series, which features other Stones-themed drinks. The crystal bottle it comes in is designed around the band’s iconic lips and tongue logo. Learn more at Suntory.com.
