In the meantime check out some videos of the amazing, spectacular performance of Stevie Wonder at Bonnaroo 2010 below.

There’s actually plenty of videos online with the majority of descriptions praising Stevie’s performance. Some even called it the best performance all weekend. Personally, Saturday was an extremely long day that year. We were so exhausted by Stevie time and I thought like some folks are thinking today, ‘do I really wanna see someone that old?’ But, the music lover that I am (and Motown girl), I just had to see some of the show. Wow, Wow, Wow.  We could not leave our spot the entire time, he was so entertaining. To hear most of Stevie’s catalog and so many many songs you’ve either forgotten about or heard the same hooks from newer artists was just sheer delight. I mean, it’s one thing to see a band at a Mardi Gras ball covering Stevie, but it’s a whole different level to witness the person who composed and originally recorded those songs, performing them like he was still touring on the Motown Motor Revue back in the day. Not to mention, he does way more than just play his songs. He really entertains a crowd (musicians should definitely take note).

That’s my say. You got anything?

So here, we go. The first video is some of the playful side music from the audience, directed by Stevie. Pure Joyfulness. The second one would make Frampton lay his guitar down.
