Murphy student Cody Kenlaw checks in to tell us about the big fundraiser Saturday afternoon for the restoration of Murphy High School. An all day event at Moe’s Original BBQ Downtown with a silent auction, live music, raffles, free crawfish and more. The auction has several paintings from Murphy students, former students and other Mobile artisans. Various raffles are offered with prizes donated by local businesses, and Moe’s is serving up Free Crawfish starting at 2pm.

Grits ‘N’ Pieces are the live entertainment along with Allie Logan and the Murphy High School Jazz Band.

The event goes from 1pm-7pm and costs $10 to get in. Kids 12 and under admitted free, with all donations going to the Murphy High Alumni. The pics here are donated paintings for the cause.
