Songs for the Phillipines, available now on iTunes

The death toll from Supertyphoon Haiyan has now topped 5,000, and as we know here on the Gulf, a tremendous number are left homeless.  Here comes the musical brigade to help with music. A  slew of artists have donated music to be used on a compilation album, called ‘Songs for the Phillipines’. All artists, record companies and music publishers waived all fees for the project as well.    The album has 39 hits from the likes of The Beatles, U2, Bob Dylan, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Eminem, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars and more, with all proceeds going to the Phillipine Red Cross.

Great Christmas Gift idea, dontcha think?  To purchase, head on over to iTunes.com/Phillipines.

You can help promote the album too by sharing on social media with the hashtag #GiftSongsForPH.
