The worldwide television premiere of ‘Road to Red Rocks’ is slated for Friday, February 1, 7pm (CST). Directed by a couple friends, Fred & Nick, the film follows the band to Colorado’s infamous amphitheatre for two sold out shows. Along with some stunning performances, the viewers are taken backstage for interviews with the band and treated to a behind-the-scenes look at life on the road.
‘Big Easy Express’ sees its worldwide TV debut Friday, February 8 at 7pm on Showtime as well. This unique tour a couple years ago featured Mumford and Sons, Old Crow Medicine Show, and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes. The three artists came up with a dream while hanging together at Bonnaroo one year. The dream became a reality when they boarded a vintage train in California, bound for New Orleans. Part concert, part roadtrip, ‘Big Easy Express’ is directed by Emmett Malloy, who also helmed the critically acclaimed ‘White Stripes Under Great White Northern Skies’. It’s also Grammy nominated for best long form music video.
