These days of mass media all a celebrity needs to do is mention something and things happen — quickly.

Apparently in an interview yesterday (june 1), Adele mentioned her fandom of Aussie soap Neighbours and today she’s offered a bit part on the show with a huge welcome from the cast and crew.

So what did Adele say exactly? ”I love Neighbours and especially Harold. He plays the tuba so I’d love to ask him to play on some of the tracks. In return I could do a cameo on Neighbours like Lily Allen did. But I have to overcome my fear of flying all that way first.”

Well, there ya go, modern day barters.
