Mumford and Sons releases first single from anxiously awaited sophomore album while on their ‘Gentlemen of the Road’ US mini-fest run.

‘I Will Wait’ is the first sample we get from the upcoming sophomore album Babel and thus far fans and critics are not disappointed. The band is currently on the road for their own curated mini-festival ‘Gentlemen of the Road’. Winston (banjo) tells XFM “This weekend just gone we did Portland, Maine – which was AMAZING! The whole town totally embraced it, all the bars, all the shops put moustaches up and top hats everywhere – it was amazing.”
The band rolled out the festival series at a Hoboken, NJ site that’s never been used for a rock concert before, an old pier park. More than 15,000 fans crowded the site that overlooks the Manhattan Skyline.

The New York Times reports the “City officials said Hoboken would receive $2 for every ticket sold to pay for future free concerts and events — roughly $30,000. About 500 tickets were set aside for Hoboken residents, and the $55 tickets sold out within a day of going on sale.”
The Bristol, TN stop, closest to our area, is sold out.
