Mobile County Commission tells us the western railroad crossing at Wilson Road and Cemetery Road in Wilmer will be closed from 7 a.m., on Tuesday, March 19, 2013, to 5 p.m., on Wednesday, March 20, 2013. Historic Murphy High School is one of the many Midtown Mobile places damaged by the ravaging ‘Christmas Day Tornadoes’. As such, a special relief fund was created by Murphy Alumni Association that’s dedicated to rebuilding the school.
