In an interview with Maxim, Coldplay singer Chris Martin says Beyonce turned down a song he wrote for her. He says, “Well, I did write a song for Beyonce, but it got rejected by her A&R people.” 

Martin also wrote a song for Rihanna, a track called “Princess of China,” which appears on Coldplay’s new album Mylo Xyloto. Chris Martin and his wifeGwyneth Paltrow are close friends with Jay-Z, who is married to Bey, so we’re surprised this collaboration never came out!
