Coldplay is keeping the latest release, Mylo Xyloto, off streaming sites like Spotify, Rhapsody and MOG. The band has expressed a dislike at their inability to control downloads and the smaller royalty rates they receive using a streaming service. You can get the new album the old-fashioned way, buy visiting a place that sells cds or if it’s mp3′s you insist, Itunes & Amazon is selling the new album.  

Meanwhile, Chris Martin is still worried about music fans’ perception of Coldplay.

He tells Spin, “Some people misconstrue our band just to be a commercial venture. They question the soulfulness of Coldplay because we’ve done okay…But in terms of how people perceive us I only pick up on the negative side of it. I always feel like the big bad outside world just…hates us.”
