Foo Fighter puts together supergroup to debut his documentary at Sundance
Dave Grohl is on his way to legendary Sundance Film Festival where he’ll premiere Sound City, his documentary about the heritage SoCal Sound City Studios. To stand out in the crowd, the rocker plans to play with some of his heroes in a supergroup called the Sound City Players. So far named to play in the band are Stevie Nicks, John Fogerty, Rick Nielsen, Nirvana’s Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear, Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins and many others.
