With only a couple of days remaining before the big inaugural event, organizers for the Dauphin Island Art Trail have completed stacking their roster with over 25 talented and highly respected local and regional artists.

Free to the public and traveling art enthusiasts, artwork will be on display and sale at nine (9) different island locations from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15th. There will also be a bonus art exhibition and sale located atBellingrathGardens, a southMobileCounty jewel located just up the road fromDauphinIsland.  



In the true spirit of Dauphin Island, Art Trail organizers have added an element of fun to this first time event – a “treasure hunt” of sorts, aimed at enticing patrons to visit all Art Trail locations and host businesses. At anyArtTraillocation, theDauphinIslandWelcomeCenterand other island businesses, patrons’ Trail Maps will be available with the list of artists, locations and instructions on the reverse side.  Patrons who receive rubber stamps from all nine (9) venues on the island will be registered to win prizes, such as cash, restaurant gift certificates and free passes tickets to area attractions.
