The upcoming film CBGB, which tells the story of the legendary venue, is gearing up to start production and the cast is coming together – and it is not just actors appearing in it. Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins will portray Iggy Pop in the flick.  He’ll join the likes of Malin Akerman, who will play Blondie singer Debbie Harry, Harry Potter starRupert Grint, who’ll portray Dead Boys guitarist Cheetah Chrome, and Alan Rickman, who is signed on to star as CBGB owner Hilly Kristal.  The movie starts filming later this month.
