Cee Lo Green, Hangout Music Fest (by David Vann)
Cee Lo Green speaks on the deleted tweet deemed homophobic by some.
Music editor Andrea Swensson wrote a rather negative review of Green’s live performance with Rihanna.
To which he tweeted:
“I respect your criticism, but be fair! People enjoyed last night! I’m guessing you’re gay? And my masculinity offended you? Well f*** you!”
Well apparently the whole world took offense, so now he defends.
“”She was very critical of me. At the time I didn’t even know what gender the person was. I was being a little outspoken that night, a little outrageous,” he tells Us Magazine. “I always expect people to assume that everything I do is part of my character and sense of humor. I assumed that whoever it was would assume it was all in good fun. It wasn’t taken so well, apparently.”

Ed note: personally, i would have taken it as tongue in cheek, and like he said, in character. How about you?

Paying Homage to Clarence Clemons:
U2 dedicated “Moment of Surrender” with Bono saying ““I want you to think about Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. I want you to think of Clarence Clemons. This man has carried music, and music carried him until this day.”
Phish performed “thunder Road” Sunday night. Trey is a huge fan of the E Street Band and was lucky to have Bruce jam with Phish at Bonnaroo 2009.
