Rob Thomas tells Us Weekly that he’s joining the NBC show The Voice as a mentor for Cee-Lo’s contestants. Thomas says “I’m really excited to work with Cee Lo and love the idea that I may be in the room with a future superstar that the world hast yet to discover.”  Green Day’s Billie Jo Armstrong will also join The Voice as a mentor. The new season starts September 10.
