Sir Paul McCartney is travelling a different musical avenue by composing a major orchestral piece for the New York City ballet.
New York Times reports it’s a love story, 45-50 minutes long with a cast of at least 40. He’s only composing the music though, not the choreography.
Debut is Sept. 22 in New York.
