Tropical Storm Lee activities, taking a walk down Mobile’s history lane. (putting the ‘free day’ sign out front really helped too!).  Quite interesting, especially the big dollhouses, quite dreamy.  We learned that boxer Joe Louis, from Lafayette Alabama, was also a spokesman for the military (see the ad below). Now I’ve got to figure out who the Joe Louis Arena is named after in Detroit (??). Seeing actual things from history, their sizes etc, really puts it together in your mind clearer.

The Museum that focuses on history will get quite a historic opening, the 1st place anyone can view World Trade Center Recovery Operation Exhibit, opens 9/11.
