Here’s your card, the classic episode of WKRP in Cincinnati where a Thanksgiving promotion goes insanely wrong.
Just listening to Les Nessman’s vivid description is classic (especially if you’ve ever worked in radio):

So many other great lines in this episode, especially if you’ve ever worked in radio. One of my favorites: ‘Less… We now work for a Rock & Roll station, which means these casually dressed people seem to thyink they’ve taken over the place’ Mr. Carlson
Observation, but probably coincidence: Fever sends it to Nessman for his ‘report’; video time is exactly 17:00, top of the hour. Time to hit the news in all news/sports formats. (that’s really what that beep is just before network news on all news/sports stations, the tone to cue station operator to ‘pot it up’).
