Dauphin Island Police Chief Darryl Wilson advised that starting today, August 28, a curfew from 8 pm – 6 am is in effect until further notice. The curfew is put in place due to power outages from Hurricane Isaac. Residents still on the island are advised to stay indoors during this time period. Only Island residents will be allowed on the island.
