Ticket Sarasota reported today the death of guitarist Dan Toler at the age of 65. Toler had been suffering from Lou Gehrig’s disease and was unable to play guitar or speak the last few months of his life.
In addition to playing with the Allman Brothers back in the ’70′s, Toler played with Gregg Allman in his solo ’80′s days and more recently had his own band, Townshend Toler Band.
