New Music coming soon from ‘Chasing Cars’ band, Snow Patrol.

Snow Patrol announced that their new single, “Called Out in the Dark,” will be released next month. The song is part of an EP that’s set to come out on September 4^th. The group recorded the album in Topanga Canyon near Los Angeles with producer Jacknife Lee (who works a lot with REM and was part of the Gary Lightbody/Peter Buck project Tired Pony). 

It’s also being reported that frontman Gary Lightbody had a severe bout of writer’s block and that R.E.M. frontman Michael Stipe helped him overcome it while they were recording in California.
