Bruce Springsteen is performing on a new track from Detroit musician Stewart Francke called “Summer Soldier (Holler If Ya Hear Me).”  Francke told People.com that the song is about the war in Afghanistan and he interviewed soldiers to help him write it.  As for having The Boss on the track, Stewart called it “an honor.”  The tune is off Francke’s album, Heatless World, which is out on May 31st.  Hear the song at People.com.
