Saenger Theatre's Fate Still Not Decided; Once Again on Council Agenda (updated)

Huka/SMG proposal to run Saenger is on the table again. Huka says they already have at least ten performances ready to finalize for the remainder of 2013, and at least 64 so far for next year. Those possibilities could be lost if the City does not take action as soon as possible. The Saenger will be shut down October 1 if no decision made pursuant to the City’s agreement to finance it for one year.

Clapton announces 2013 tour and Crossroads Guitar Festival

U.S. tour launches next year in Phoenix on March 14. Slowhand will hit about a dozen or so cities before he wraps things up with the fourth Crossroads Guitar Festival in New York April 12th and 13th with Allman Brothers Band, BB King, Brad Paisley, Eric Clapton, Gary Clark Jr., Jeff Beck, John Mayer, Keith Urban, Vince Gill and many more.
