Gregg Allman's 'Low Country Blues' debuts #5 Billboard

HIGHEST CHART POSITION OF HIS CAREER. His debut solo record, 1973’s Laid Back, reached #13. Low Country Blues is Allman’s first solo record in 14 years and was produced by T Bone Burnett at his Village Recorder studio in Los Angeles. The album features Dr. John on piano, guitarist Doyle Bramhall II, and Burnett’s brilliant go-to rhythm section: bassist Dennis Crouch and drummer Jay Bellerose.
