ThyssenKrupp Steel USA To Cease Operations in Advance of Isaac
In preparation for the probability of inclement weather associated with Tropical Storm Isaac, ThyssenKrupp Steel USA has announced that it will be ceasing operations at its Calvert, Alabama facility at 6:00 p.m. Monday, August 27 with the anticipation of resuming normal scheduled operations at 6:00 a.m. Thursday, August 30.
Since storm impacts to operations beyond Wednesday evening cannot be accurately predicted at this time, employees should monitor their emails and the ThyssenKrupp Steel USA Team Member Hotline at (251) 289-4411 for operations updates.
