Hurricane Isaac still stalled on coastal Louisiana. In an interview on the Weather Channel, WRNO confirmed a levee was breeched in Plaquemines Parish. Plaquemines suffered a great deal of environmental contamination, and still does with layers of oil still lingering in some of the marshes.

It was also reported earlier Plaquemines president may have incurred major damage at his home while he was being interviewed by the Weather Channel.
