Elfapalooza returning to downtown Mobile


ElfOfficials with Mobile County Public Schools, the City of Mobile and the Downtown Mobile Alliance want you to be your-elf and join the fun as they attempt to break the record for the most Santa’s elves in a single location.

Elfapalooza is Friday,  Dec. 11 in Bienville Square.

Downtown Mobile will once again be filled with Santa’s elves.

For the second consecutive year, Elfapalooza will take place in Bienville Square. The event, which is an attempt to break a Guinness world record, will take place on Friday, December 11. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m.

Last year’s Elfapalooza attracted an unofficial number of 1,202 elves which was 560 elves shot of the 1,762 record set by students in Thailand in 2013.

Must be there by 7 to be counted by Guinness. Official rule says costumes must have pointed ears & hat (any material) and have any combo of red & green.

5:40: Baker’s Dozen
5:50: Causey Chorus
6:00: Dance Academy of Mobile
6:10: Belles of Baker
6:20: Old Shell Road School of Performing Arts
6:30: Baker Dance Department
6:40: Sunnyside Theatre
6:50: Elsa performs “Let It Go” (Make Believe Parties)
7: Final Countdown and Group Photo
7:10: Elf Parade led by the Pride of Baker Marching Band
