Gulf Coast Blues Boy, Jamell Richardson, to Play Hangout Festival as Winner of Reach for the Beach
Jamell Richardson of Grand Bay, AL, aka “The Gulf Coast Blues Boy” was chosen to open Hangout Festival Friday morning as part of 92ZEW’s Reach for the Beach challenge to play Hangout Fest.
Jamell also had a role in the James Brown biopic “Get on Up” playing guitar and the role of Jimmie Nolan.
The winner of the was determined by audience votes at their show and a panel of judges from The Hangout, Hangout Festival representatives, media outlets and 92ZEW, based on showmanship, music, and presentation.
His band will be the first artist on the mainstage Friday at Hangout Music Festival. On winning, Jamell said:
