Kurt Cobain’s Credit Card Is Up for Auction

The End of Music, LLC/HBOIs the only thing missing from your Nirvana memorabilia collection a rectangular piece of plastic with Kurt Cobain‘s signature scribbled on it? If so, you’re in luck — you can now bid on one of Cobain’s credit cards. The item is up for auction as a part of Paddle8’s “Legendary: Memorabilia from Rock Gods and Pop Stars” collection, and is expected to sell for between $7,000 and $9,000.

The card is a Visa card held with Seafirst Bank, which is based in Seattle. It was set to expire in February 1995, almost one year after Cobain committed suicide in April of 1994.

Other items in the “Legendary” collection include a handwritten U2 set list and various rare photos of Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles and The Doors.

Bidding on the “Legendary: Memorabilia from Rock Gods and Pop Stars” collection, including the Kurt Cobain credit card, will be open through February 26.

Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck, the first fully authorized documentary about the late Nirvana frontman, will air on HBO May 4.
