Seems the rising festival industry shows no sign of slowing down, so much so, that some are booking headliners that don’t seem to pair with the festival’s name.
Like the Budweiser Made in America Festival in Philadelphia, whose headliners include Rihanna and ……
COLDPLAY!!! Like, aren’t they British and clearly not made in America? Oh wait, perhaps it’s ye old ‘give us your tired, your poor, your hungry’? Nope, they’re none of those either.
To top it off, the title sponsor is now a Belgian company. But, to be fair, perhaps Budweiser’s beer is still brewed in America.
Nonetheless, who really cares when you’re in the city of brotherly love checking out Coldplay, St. Lucia, Banks & Steelz, Grimes, Dorothy and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros.
Made in America Festival is set for Sept. 3 and 4th.
