Unsigned Artists Have a Chance to Play the Mainstage of Hangout Music Festival 2016
92ZEW and Hangout Music Festival are giving unsigned artists in Alabama and the Gulf Coast area a shot to play the 2016 Hangout Music Festival Mainstage to kick-off the best weekend ever with the Reach for the Beach challenge. Not only will you get the fun started, you’ll get to stay all weekend, with your artist pass on your wrist! Good time for schmoozin’ with today’s best musicians.
The competition is open for independent, unsigned musicians in Alabama. It is also open to artists in Mississippi and Florida if they are within a hundred miles of Gulf Shores, AL.
To be considered, get your BEST stuff to the ZEW before April 1, 2016 at 5pm, eat your lucky charms and rub your rabbits feet for good luck.
A panel of music judges will convene and check out all the entries, cast their votes and iron out the top six talents to go to the next level.
Each of the six finalists move into the live performance stage of the contest where they will be scheduled to play an opening set for a national recording artist during 92ZEW’s Countdown to Hangout Fest Free Concert Series.
Each week, finalists will be awarded scores based on a point system with the final score being a combination of points received from judges and audience attending their Countdown to Hangout Fest show.
A winner will be selected based on final scores and announced on TLC Show Apr. 4 on 92ZEW.
