U2’s Bono & Adam Clayton revealed some plans for upcoming album ‘Songs of Experience’ and possible tour for 2017.

The Spanish U2 fan page U2 en España spoke with Bono and Adam Clayton this past week in Valencia, Spain, and the band mates shared some tidbits about the group’s plans for its upcoming album, Songs of Experience, and next tour leg.
“It’s not finished yet but you will like it,” said Bono about the album, which is a follow-up to 2014’s Songs of Innocence. “In terms of lyrics it is stronger than War, it has more clarity.”

The singer also revealed that U2 wouldn’t be hitting the road again until 2017, while adding, “You might see a few things in September or October though.”

Clayton also was asked about the time frame for the album’s release and the launch of the band’s next road trip, to which he responded, “Soon…in the next six months.”U2 en España reports that Bono, Clayton and The Edge were in Valencia for the wedding of an old friend, Reggie Manuel. The band members have been posting photos of their visit to the city on U2’s official Facebook page.
