Mobile’s Whole Foods Market to donate 5% of Thursday’s net sales to Mobile Baykeeper
Mobile Baykeeper has been selected as the beneficiary of the Whole Foods Market 5% Day Community Giving Program this month.
On Thursday, August 31 between store hours from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., 5% of the store’s net sales will be donated to support our mission to provide citizens a means to protect the beauty, health and heritage of the Mobile Bay Watershed and our coastal communities.
Baykeeper staff members will be stationed at a membership table inside the store from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. to answer any questions you may have about our current issues, membership and volunteer opportunities, and upcoming events. Plus, if you haven’t heard, Amazon recently acquired Whole Foods and reduced its prices so now is the perfect time to come see the difference!
Join us this Thursday during store hours and enjoy healthy food, lower prices, and support our work for clean water, clean air, and healthy communities! We are very grateful for companies like Whole Foods Market who show a commitment to the environment and make a positive difference in our community. We hope to see you all there!
