O Mama Mia! Queen tops list of most streamed songs from the 20th century

Bohemian Rhapsody lyrics memeQueen’s Bohemian Rhapsody tops the list of most streamed songs from the 20th century.  The top five also include GNR, Nirvana and A-Ha.  The rankings come from  global streaming services like Spotify, Apple, Youtube and others.  Bohemian Rhapsody has more than 1.6 Billion streams on youtube alone.

  1.  Queen – “Bohemian Rhapsody” (probably due in part to the new Freddy Mercurty biopic & Wayne’s World) more than 1.6 billion streams
  2.  Nirvana – “Smells Like Team Spirit”
  3.  Guns n Roses – “Sweet Child o’ Mine”
  4.  Guns n Roses – “November Rain”
  5.  A-ha – “Take on Me”

We’ve got the videos below if you want to add one more stream to the lists.

Fun fact.  You know the infamous scene in Wayne’s World where they headbang?  The song was originally supposed to be a Guns N Roses track, but Mike Myers insisted on Bohemian Rhapsody & even threatened to quit if they didn’t use it.
