A Brooklyn Startup Is Making Vodka Out of Air
Last week it was meat made of air, now we’ve got the companion cocktail, Vodka.
A Brooklyn-based distillery, Air Co says they’ve created vodka from air and water and is the purest you’ll find.
Their proprietary process was inspired by photosynthesis. Like plants, Air Co.’s equipment absorbs carbon dioxide, splits the carbon and oxygen, draws in water, and utilizes the sun as a power source.
Each bottle removes a pound of carbon dioxide from the air, which is equivalent to eight trees.
It’s not cheap though, It’ll set you back about $65 a bottle, if you can find it.
