Listen to Foo Fighters Cover Dead Kennedys & Arcade Fire for New EP 

A new installment of Foo Fighters’ ongoing Foo Files series of EP releases has arrived.

Dave Grohl and company have dropped the surprise EP 01070725, a five-track release that includes a demo version of “Come Alive;” “Seda,” which was a bonus track from the Japanese edition of Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace, and “If Ever,” the b-side of “The Pretender.”

In addition the EP features a live cover of the Dead Kennedys’ classic “Holiday in Cambodia,” performed at the 2007 MTV VMAs, and a cover of Arcade Fire’s “Keep the Car Running,” which they played at a British festival that same year.

The Foo Files series already comprises the Live in Roswell EP from 2005; The Pretender — Live at Studio 606 West which was recorded in 2007 in Northridge, CA; These Days: Live at the Roundhouse, London UK from 2011, and a three-song collection called For All the Cows, featuring two live tracks from 1995’s Reading Festival and one recorded live in Melbourne, Australia in 2000.
