The Revivalists Announce RevCauses Charity Foundation
The Revivalists have launched a new charity organization called Rev Causes.
According to a statement from the band, the fund will benefit the “essential work of organizations dedicated to reviving and investing in our communities, our health, and our environment.”
“Rev Causes is kind of like our music,” the group says. “It comes from a lot of different places and covers a lot of ground, but ultimately, it’s all about what we believe in.”
In conjunction with the launch of Rev Causes, The Revivalists have announced a 2020 tour, running from February 28 in Mashantucket, Connecticut to March 21 in New York City.
For every ticket sold on the tour, $1 will be donated to a number of organizations supported by Rev Causes: Center for Disaster Philanthropy, Everytown for Gun Safety Support Fund, National Alliance on Mental Illness, Songs for Kids Foundation and Upturn Arts.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, October 25 at 10 a.m. local time via TheRevivalists.com.
You can also catch The Revivalists on the small screen next month when they make two TV appearances. The band’s episode of Austin City Limits airs November 2 on PBS, and they’ll perform on an episode of CBS’ NCIS: New Orleans November 19.
