22nd Annual GULF COAST HOT AIR BALLOON FESTIVAL- OWA Parks & Resort, Foley.UPDATE: Because of the weather, organizers have made the decision to cancel all Gulf Coast Hot Air Balloon Festival activities for Friday. Saturday morning balloon flights are also canceled. Saturday’s festival schedule will have a delayed opening at 12:00 PM (noon).This three-day celebration will once again bring colorful hot air balloons, live entertainment, family-friendly attractions, and unforgettable evening spectacles to the Gulf Coast. Join improv troupes from around the country for a weekend of unscripted hilarity in downtown Mobile!

The 2026 Mobile Improv Comedy Carnival will feature a total of 17 performances over two nights, featuring all of the Mobile-based improv troupes, as well as performers from nine U.S. states! Located in the back of the beautiful Mobile Carnival Museum, the 2026 MICC will be the state of Alabama’s first festival dedicated exclusively to improvised comedy! The festival is headlined by “HERE the Improvised Musical”, from Columbus, Ohio, an act called “nothing short of brilliant” by NPR, and that has headlined festivals and shows in over 25 countries and 100 cities worldwide!
